Phonograms

Color in the Phonogram Page and cut off the top letter strip, then cut the slits on the left side.

If you have a hole punch you can use it to punch a hole into which you can slip your scissors to start cutting the slots. Then pull the letter strip from the back through the lower slit. 

Thread the letter strip from front to back through the top slit and pull the top of the strip so the letters pass through the window creating the words on the page.

You can circle the images to reinforce the words and practice writing the words below.  

The pages can be laminated and colored in with dry erase markers and then wiped clean so another student can use them.
